The next cut that colonization inflicted on white-bodied people was dissociation. People racialized as white had to distance and numb themselves to the violence done on their behalf, and the violence that they benefited from. In other words: colonization requires you to numb out, intellectualize, rationalize to unconsciously perpetuate violence. It asks you to unconsciously dissociate and dehumanize, internally. It seeks to numb your sacred, sensitive, human soul so it can turn you into a predator for the colonial patriarchy.
In other words: this has always been spiritual warfare.
That’s why a rooted, honest, re-humanizing spirituality is the foundation of collective liberation.
It’s not something that just happens in our minds. To be sustainable & to create a new earth, it has to happen in our bodies, in our heart, and in our SOULS.
Because that’s where the disconnection lives.
This — recalling your soul’s pieces, being embodied, & unlearning the harmful programming from the spirit-breaking legacy of colonization — is our work together.
HERE'S THE PROBLEM
The spiritual disconnection many white-bodied people are feeling is a direct result of the oppressive systems we are living in and a direct result of colonization.
White-bodied people are unwell because of the colonial patriarchal intergenerational trauma they carry in being ripped from the sacred web of life and in colluding with its desecration.
Colonization never ended, it just became normalized.
First, colonization turned land into an object, as something that was separate from us and something to be extracted from.
This taught us separation, uprooting, fragmentation, and normalized a transactional mentality. It programmed us to desecrate our Mother Earth and to exploit rather than nurture and honor.
Of course this impacted our souls.
The next cut of colonization was to separate people from their cultures and traditions. Often, we think that harm only happened to the people who were colonized. But, the truth is more complex. White bodied people have caused immense harm and also, they have experienced harm (not oppression) from this oppressive paradigm. The people who are descended from colonizers also lost their cultures and traditions when they became ‘white’.
They lost a connection to the sacred which further normalized desecration.
Which is why so many white people are spiritually hungry — and perhaps one of the reasons for spiritual tourism and cultural appropriation. You’ve been disconnected from your own roots, your own traditions, your own rituals. That’s one of the harms colonization has done to you.

This offering was life changing for me and something my heart has been yearning for for a very long time.
For the first time in a very long time, maybe ever, I felt a deep connection to Mother Earth and a deepening sense of spirituality. I really got the connection between healing from the colonized mindset and the importance of deepening of my own sense of spirituality.
Dra. Rocio came to us with incredibly balanced intellect and heart, the medicine offered went in deeply into me.

"Ripples of Dra. Rocio's teachings continue to move through me and I continue to experience moments of synchronicity with her teachings. For this reason, it is difficult to share what I received as I continue to receive. I received a better understanding of some of the ways in which I continue to inadvertently cause harm through colonial programming and a more solid framework for living without that programming. While Black, Indigenous, and People of Color in the U.S. have suffered disproportionately under the colonial system, I now see the ways in which I (and other white folx) suffer. I understand how I need to continue on this learning journey of decolonization to restore my humanity and be in right relationship with all humans. My social justice / collective liberation education prior to attending Dra. Rocio's class / circle was important and educational and this weekend's learnings landed in my body and my soul in a different way that prior teachings.
Dra. Rocio was both teaching us about decolonization and demonstrating it by holding her students with loving accountability to help us learn and grow. I highly recommend this course for any white folx who are spiritually-minded and on the journey of dismantling racism, of collective liberation, of social justice - those who have learned and are wondering how to make a real shift, those who have an intellectual understanding and have not yet felt the soul or embodied connection to a different way of being.

My work is at the same time decolonial and spiritual. You will receive teachings and guidance to unlearn colonizer programming, mentality, and behaviors as well as guidance to divest from the white colonial capitalist patriarchy. You will also receive spiritual transmissions and healing to create the shift needed to birth the new earth.
The sacred container will commence with calling in the 4 sacred directions, meditation journey, and intention setting. It is meant to be experienced, and you will have an opportunity to ask questions to receive clarity and guidance about your role in the movement and dismantling the internalized colonizer to be in alignment and integrity with the new earth. You will receive teachings as well as healing and unlearning.

Saludos Beloved, I'm Dra. Rocio
I am a Xicana/Mexicana, Indigenous women in diaspora. I am a Seer, medicine woman initiated and in apprenticeship with the Q’ero Inca lineage, Spiritual Guide, & a Counseling Psychology Ph.D. I am also an unschooling mama, a wife, hija, sister, tia, & madrina.
I have been doing this work for lifetimes. I walk and work in between the earthly and spiritual realms as a claircognizant, clairsentient, clairvoyant, and clairaudient. I come from a long line of healers on both my maternal and paternal lineages and was born with psychic, channeling, and mediumship gifts. I am able to see beyond this ordinary reality to bring forth the highest timelines and visions into our earthly reality. I am grateful to my teachers, Pampamesayoq Don Alejandro Apaza & Mesa Carrier and Medicine Woman Marilu Shinn for helping me remember.
My work is at the intersections of decolonizing, spirituality, and wellness. I have more than two decades of doing this work as a healer, as a teacher, but really I have been doing this work all my life as a born highly sensitive Seer & Feeler. I believe that it is my spiritual gifts, ability to cultivate compassion, and create alchemy that are my greatest gifts.
I am able to hold compassion because of my medicine path in the Q'ero Inca lineage and because I also understand the experience of being complicit (in academia).
That first-hand experience allows me to meet you compassionately because I see how much of our collusion is unconscious and is seen as "just the way things are", often masked as "progress." I deeply understand how much of a shock and disappointment it can be to awaken to colonial collusion and how what we need is guidance, truth telling, and compassion - not shame and judgment.
My medicine, and the vow I’ve taken as a medicine woman, is to help restore harmony and balance to the world.
And that’s why I offer this work to you.
My work is deeply rooted in Indigenous wisdom, medicine, and worldview and my work has had a global impact to evolve the collective consciousness in understanding the need to decolonize our minds, to reclaim our spiritual sovereignty, and to restore balance to our world. I view decolonization not as a destination, but as a pathway to the New Earth and to remembering our sacred ways.
While I do decolonial work, this is only part of my work, I serve as a spiritual guide for all people to recover their whole selves, their spiritual gifts, and to remember that we are all peoples of the Earth. And so my work weaves decolonial teachings, Indigenous Earth medicine, psychospiritual work, somatic work, energy work, shadow work, and ancestral work.

My experience with the White Colonial Mind class was different from other offering because it wasn't soley intellectual. The meditations, the actual vibration played through out, the pace and repetition made it more like a communal ritual verses a "class".
Dr. Rocio Rosales Meza, I am in awe at your capacity and openness to doing this potent work. It was powerful to witness you navigating and co-creating the space. It was humbling to watch you evoke and orchestrate the healing for so many students simulatenously. The grace, rigor and compassion you demonstrated was tremendously impactful. I have said and will continue to say I was shifted on the cellualar level. I have been and continue to awaken from colonial, patriarchcal, capitalist slumber and my collusion with these systems. I have a lot to learn about how my people and I have benefited from and perpetrated these systems. I do not want to be blind to this collusion. I am committeed to being responsible and teaching my children how they too are responsible and what our role is in interrupting these systems. I have been shifted on the cellular level as a result of sitting in this circle. I cannot "unsee" or "unknow" the realities that Dr. Rocio Rosales Meza has revealed to me. I am deeply grateful for this download and feel like it has fundamentally changed the way that I interact with BIPOC folxs in my life. I listen more. "I have participated in many anti-racist offerings, some of which were specifically just for white folks. While those offerings felt informative and integral to my learning, this offering felt like it provided me with those same things in addition to a deep sense of healing that I didn't even know that I needed in order to deepen my own connection and commitment to this work.
I received teachings that felt deeper than previous offerings I’ve participated in that were focused on anti-racism work. Something has always felt “missing” for me and this offering was exactly it -- I received important frameworks that allowed me to really connect the dots in a way that I had not before as well as being able to use that framework to more meaningfully identify the places within myself that I am colluding with these violent systems. While I had done that in my anti-racism work, doing this kind of shadow work from a decolonial lens is both painful and healing in an entirely different way.
I feel like I have always cognitively/intellectually known the importance but this class and circle provided me with what I needed to deeply FEEL this truth in a way I had not before. I feel like everything is now aligned for me in such a way that I feel ease in my movement through shame, guilt, and fear when it comes up so that I may be intentional with my engagement as an accomplice in this movement. It has allowed me to renew my sense of healthy urgency which has made my commitment to it feel authentic, exciting, and freeing because I know so deeply that anything in pursuit of the freedom and liberation for all will also be the best for me as an individual. If it is in the collectives’ highest good, then it is in my highest good.
Give yourself the gift of learning from Dra. Rocio. The labor that she provides for free on social media (which she should be compensated for, too) is only just the tip of the iceberg of what is necessary to truly do the work of decolonizing your life. This work requires white folks to give up wealth, power, time, and energy (all what we have expected to extract from BIPOC for centuries and continue to either actively collude with or remain complicit in) and this sacred circle is just a small step in doing that in the ways that we need to so that we can truly be accomplices in this movement. The exchange for this live 4-day intensive experience held over one month is $3,333, reflective of the depth of this complex, layered, nuanced and intense work, with an option to pay more available for those who are more financially resourced. White bodied people are encouraged to pay at their true resource level.
What I have realized in doing this work with white people is how much time, support, and space are required from me & for me in order to hold this depth of shadow work.
The pricing of this 4-day intensive reflects what it takes to guide white people through the process of decolonial shadow work while also protecting my spirit, my energy, and my family.
While I know there is nothing that people can pay that will be my worth or equal to the transformation that my work and medicine offers, money is the current exchange and this is what feels in balance of the level of healing and space holding for this experiential class at this current time that also meets my family's financial needs.
It is important to note that, what white people pay for this work is also how they can begin to practice giving up power, how they begin to practice divesting, how they begin to embody right relationship.
The container is intentionally created to honor the depth of the shadow work and the space holding needed. Thus, this will be a smaller group offering.
For true healing and unlearning, the teachings must be processed somatically, spiritually, emotionally. Thus, this will not be offered in an academic way. This is heart and soul work.

"This experience is hard to quantify. I can say that I had an “idea” of what to expect, and it was much different, and such a natural form of surprise. Dra. Rocio held an entire collective of yt folks in such compassion, and it’s not necessarily earned. She sees that we are here and walks by our side. She is a powerful soul, who is committed to birthing a new Earth that holds all humans in the same hands. She called us in, while gently holding us accountable.
I received potent medicine and powerful messages. Ones that I wish to forward to the yt people in my circle. She sent the important message that we are all needed to make this shift possible.
I had been doing surface work for a couple years, but this container was a much deeper dive. This sacred circle is so much more than reading a book, or listening to a podcast. It is geared toward yt folks, to allow us to SEE how we show up, how we continue to collude, and how to end that tie to the colonial paradigm.
I felt comfortable in my own silence- i was open to receiving her medicine. My input did not matter, I was there to learn. She spoke to us in a way that made the need to ask questions less urgent. I connected and recognized my own sense of urgency, which is colonial, and I was able to begin to disarm that in me, in relation to my interactions with BIPOC.
This circle has birthed a duty in me. I must always self-examine, I must always see myself in its most truthful form, thus, allowing me to answer the question, “How am I continuing to collude?” with integrity. I am forever a student, my work will never be finished".
